Family weekend gatherings, Easter week, Christmas, big birthdays. Three options based on size:
Mid-size family (8-12 people) — Huerta Cocotera. One hectare, pool, farm animals on-site (the grandkids love them). Laid-back vibe, not resort. Ideal for families with small kids.
Large family (15-30 people) — Rincón del Mar. The beachfront home. 8 bedrooms, comfortable capacity for 3 generations. Chef included — grandparents, parents, and kids eat together without anyone stuck in the kitchen.
Very large family (30-60 people) — Combined. Both homes, 16 bedrooms. For year-end gatherings, big anniversaries, or several sibling families coming together.
What matters for families:
- Pet-friendly: pets are welcome
- Cribs and high chairs: let us know in advance, we set them up
- Equipped kitchen + chef who adapts menus to allergies/diets (vegetarian, gluten-free, kids menu)
- A/C in bedrooms
- WiFi for the teens
- Ample parking
What is NOT here (important to know):
- No enclosed pool / lifeguard. Small kids must always be supervised by an adult.
- No 24h hotel-style desk. Karina lives nearby and resolves anything, but it’s not 24/7 reception.
- Pie de la Cuesta is a quiet area, not central Acapulco. The nightlife is 15-30 min by taxi.
